Apart from being a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador and a feminist icon, Emma Watson is also an advocate for sustainable fashion.

The 31-year-old British actress, known for her iconic role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films,  is often praised by the media for her adopting an eco-friendly approach to fashion.

During the 2016 Met Gala, Watson partnered with Eco Age and Calvin Klein for the Green Carpet Challenge. The actress wore a show-stopping Calvin Klein trouser-gown hybrid made with eco-fabric woven from recycled plastic bottles, sustainably sourced cotton, and organic silk.

Oh and, in 2017, when Emma Watson was promoting her film Beauty and the Beast, she created an Instagram account named @the_press_tour, which featured the eco-friendly brands that the actress was wearing.

Watson also posted photos of her sporting gowns and dresses from sustainable luxury brands like Stella McCartney, Filippa K, Gabriel Hearst, Behno, and other brands dedicated to making the fashion industry greener.

Now aside from showcasing eco-conscious clothing in star-studded events, Watson’s “actress-off-duty” wardrobe is nothing short of sustainable. The actress is often photographed wearing pieces from ethical brands like Tome NYC, Boody, and Teatum Jones
